Fans of the dinosaur survival games ARK are already used to postponements. The Xbox version of ARK: Survival Ascended was actually scheduled to launch today, November 14, 2023. Instead, it was postponed at the last moment.
When should ASA be released on Xbox? The open-world survival game was actually supposed to be released on Xbox today, November 14th. This was announced in a community post on November 4th. PlayStation players, however, should have to be patient.
First they want to address the problems on Steam after the surprising PC release was quite turbulent. Now the Xbox release has been postponed again.

When is ARK: Survival Evolved coming to Xbox? In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the developers at Studio Wildcard reported the status of things on November 13th, one day before the planned release. The Xbox and Windows PC versions are still in the certification process.
According to Wildcard, the release on Xbox Series X|S will take place later this week. They say they want to give a more precise time as soon as they have it.

What are the reactions? They can probably best be summarized as disappointed, but not surprised. Some potential players say it would be more surprising if the game actually comes out at some point.
Given Wildcard’s history of postponements, some probably don’t believe it will be released this week. Others even seem to be wondering whether the studio is intentionally keeping the announcements for the last moment and demanding that they just be told about a longer postponement straight away.
Overall, it can be said that the mood after the postponement of ARK 2, the discussion about server closures and bugs and glitches in the Steam version is not all that positive. It remains to be seen whether the Xbox release can make players more forgiving again.
What about the PS5 release? There is currently no new information about this. The latest status was for a PlayStation release of ARK: Survival Ascended by the end of November. If there are no further complications, console players should also be able to go dinosaur hunting in the next few weeks.
