ARK: Survival Ascended (ASA) was released for PC on October 26th, and since then console gamers have been patiently waiting for the release on their preferred platform. The release for Xbox Series X|S was supposed to be this week, but nothing comes of it.
When should ASA be released on Xbox? The dinosaur adventure ARK: Survival Ascended was actually supposed to be released for the Xbox Series X|S on November 14, 2023, but Studio Wildcard postponed the survival game one day before the release.
X.com (formerly Twitter) then said ARK: Survival Ascended would be released for Xbox later in the week as the game continues to go through the platform’s certification process.

ASA for Xbox postponed, release on November 20th at the earliest
When is ARK: Survival Ascended coming to Xbox? In a new statement dated November 16, 2023, ARK developer Studio Wildcard announced that the Xbox release would be delayed again due to the ongoing certification process.
The target date set for this week will therefore not be met. Instead, the studio is now planning a release at the beginning of next week, i.e. November 20, 2023 at the earliest (via X.com).
PS5 release from ASA still on track
What about ASA’s PS5 release? In the statement about the once again postponed Xbox release, Studio Wildcard also commented on the release of the survival game on PS5.
According to the developers, ASA is still on track for a release at the end of the month (November 2023). However, they want to give fans a more precise time frame for the launch at a later date.
It is currently hoped that the console release from ASA will not have similar performance problems as the PC version. For PC gamers, we recommend certain settings in order to have a higher FPS while still maintaining good graphics:
