During Friday night, the Melodifestival Club traditionally published its audience survey from tonight’s genre. And suddenly it no longer seems as obvious that John Lundvik will take a walk victory on Saturday.
Instead, it is Rock Queen Maja Ivarsson who wins the competition with a relatively convincing 31 percent of the vote, according to the result in the survey.
Those who respond to the Melodifestival Club’s survey are not a representative selection of the viewers who really vote on Saturday. The result may therefore always be taken with a pinch of salt. But at the same time, the survey has been shown several times to give a good first insight into which artists also succeed when the competition is really arranged on Saturday night.
According to the result in the audience survey, the second final place goes to Albin Johnsén Feat. Pa with 27 % of the vote. John Lundvik, who according to both experts and odds makers is expected to take a walking victory, has to settle for the qualification with 20 percent of the votes, according to the survey.
Linnea Henriksson: “The goal is to have Askul”
For this year’s only Sami hope, it looks darker. After a shaky genre before the press corps on Thursday, Linnea Henriksson has placed far beyond the favorite team. And in the audience survey she gets only six percent of the vote.
– So my chances of having Askul feel pig high. That’s what is my goal, she said when SVT asked during the week what she thinks about her chances.
