The pro-Western opposition in Georgia appears headed for victory in the country’s elections, according to a polling station poll.
The opposition’s challenge so far has been its fragmentation, but ahead of the election, a series of alliances have shaken hands to form an interim coalition government to put an end to the ruling Georgian Dream party.
The polling stations closed at 18:00 Swedish time.
