Actions take place in Europe on the first anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war. In Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, pro-Ukrainian activists brought a “death cake” with red paint symbolizing blood and a skull model in front of the Russian Embassy.
THE POLICE DID NOT ALLOW THE ‘DEATH CAKE’ LEFT CLOSE TO A PLACE
The police, who took security measures in the region, did not allow the activists to leave the cake in front of the embassy. Thereupon, the activists left the cake close to the embassy.
Activists also wanted to submit a petition to the embassy demanding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s surrender to the International Criminal Court in The Hague for “genocide committed in Ukraine”.

Activist Cedomir Stojkovic shared on his social media account, “Today, we brought a ‘death cake’ to the Russian ambassador in Serbia and demanded Vladimir Putin surrender for the crime of genocide he committed in Ukraine. We know that what they love is death, this cake is a symbol of their politics. ‘ he said.
