CD Projekt Red will hold a special broadcast to announce update 2.2 for Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077developer of CD ProjektRedannounced that it is preparing a new update for the game. The studio will share the innovations that will come with Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2 in a special live broadcast on Tuesday, December 10. This date also coincides with the fourth anniversary of the game’s release.
New Features Coming Soon to Cyberpunk 2077
In the post made on CD Projekt Red’s official social media accounts, it was said, “Join a new REDstreams section where we will dive deep into the new features coming soon with Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2.” Marcin Momot, the company’s Global Community Manager, commented, “The team still has some strength.”
No detailed information has yet been shared about the content of the update. However, it has been confirmed that PS5 Pro improvements or the New Game + mode will not be part of this update.
It was announced that Project Polaris, the new game of The Witcher, another popular series of the studio, has entered the full development phase and is being worked on by a team of 400 people, equivalent to 61% of the company. In addition, 64 developers are working on Project Orion, which will be the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
In the most recent financial report, it was announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 30 million copies in four years. The game’s additional package, Phantom Liberty, managed to sell 8 million copies. All new features that will come with Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2 will be announced in the live broadcast on Tuesday.
