Elon Musk bought Twitter, but the waters are not calm. In fact, if we say that everything starts now, we think we would not be wrong. Musk is allegedly making a big layoff on Twitter. The famous billionaire has already signaled that he will turn Twitter into a digital town square and make it the most respected advertising platform in the world. However, Elon Musk’s last tweet made almost more noise than all of these. In this tweet, Musk said, “The bird is free now.”
FIRST ANSWER FROM EU
A surprising response came from Thierry Breton, Member of the European Union (EU) Commission for Internal Market, to Musk’s “Bird is Free” tweet. “In Europe the bird will fly by our rules,” Breton said. This tweet, which implies that Twitter can still operate under EU rules no matter what it does, received hundreds of retweets and thousands of likes.
THE VICE MINISTER SAYAN DIDN’T RESPONSE TO ELON MUSK.
On the other hand, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ömer Fatih Sayan responded to Elon Musk’s Bird Özgür tweet. Quoting the tweet of Deputy Minister Sayan Musk, he said;
“The Bird will fly according to our rules in Turkey too”
In addition, Deputy Minister Sayan pointed to the Law No. 5651 on regulating broadcasts on the Internet and combating crimes committed through these broadcasts. Sayan also tagged Thierry Breton, Member of the EU Commission for Internal Market, in this post on Twitter.
Sayan tweeted in two different ways, in Turkish and English.
