Surprise news from tennis stars Andy Murray becomes Novak Djokovics

Djokovic won the singles Olympic gold in Paris this season, but the Serbian missed out on a grand slam for the first time since 2017.

Finished his handsome tennis career at the Paris Olympics in the summer Andy Murray starts coaching the Serbian star of the sport Novak Djokovic. Djokovic, who has won a record 24 grand slam tournaments in his career, announced on Saturday that Murray will start coaching during the training season and will coach him at the Australian Open in January.

For years, the 37-year-old Djokovic and Murray played against each other on the biggest stages of tennis. Djokovic defeated Murray five times in the final of the grand slam tournament. Three-time grand slam winner Murray, on the other hand, was scalped by the Serbian in the finals of the US Open and Wimbledon.

– I’m excited, because I get one of my biggest rivals on the same side of the net, this time as a coach. I look forward to starting the season with Andy and that he will be there for me in Melbourne, Djokovic said in the release.

On his social media accounts, Djokovic playfully joked about the Scottish player Murray’s new conquest of territory.

– He never liked being retired, Djokovic continued.
