WhatsApp, like other messaging platforms, continues to work on new features and updates. The company under the umbrella of Meta now seems to impose a new restriction on the transmission of WhatsApp messages.
WHATSAPP WILL NOT ALLOW THIS
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will soon no longer allow sending messages to multiple groups that have already been forwarded. Thus, it is thought that WhatsApp will prevent the spread of messages containing spam or false information a little more.
A shared screenshot shows that with the new restriction, WhatsApp will issue a “Forwarded messages can only be sent to a group chat” warning.
Although it is said that certain beta testers can see this restriction, WhatsApp has not made an official statement on the subject. So it would be best to wait a little longer for every single detail to be finalized.
IT CAN ALSO EXPAND THE LIMIT TO 2GB VERY SOON
It was also noted that WhatsApp, which currently allows file sharing with a maximum size of 100 MB, has recently tested the ability to send files up to 2 GB for iOS.
