While Israel is expected to retaliate against Iran, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that an Israeli attack on Iran would be “deadly, sensitive and especially surprising.” Gallant stated that Iran “will not understand what happened or how it happened” and that Iran “failed” in the missile attack.

Stating that the runways and planes of the Israeli Air Force were not damaged in the Iranian attack, Gallant emphasized that no soldiers or civilians were harmed in the attack.
