For three years, the German-Iranian Jamshid Sharmahd has been captured by the Iranian regime. Engaged in the Iranian opposition for years, he lived in the United States and was kidnapped at the end of July 2020 during a business trip to the United Arab Emirates, then was sentenced to death for facts that his family rejects. His wife and daughter have been fighting for his release ever since, and a protest took place on Monday July 31 in front of the German Foreign Ministry.
