If it comes under the general Social Security system, the applicant must apply to the CPAM if he receives a disability pension or from his pension fund if he receives an early retirement pension.

If it comes under the agricultural regime, he must apply to the Mutualité Sociale Agricole (MSA).

What is the amount of ASI in 2023 ?

If you are aloneyou can claim to receive €846.89 per month, maximum.

If you are in a relationshipbut only one of the two touches the Asi, the amount is €549.78 per month maximum.

If you are a couple and both people are entitled to ASI, the amount is a maximum of €1,482.98 per month. The amount is then paid in half to each member of the couple.

The Asi is paid from the 1st day of the month following the date of receipt of your request. The amount of the maximum income is revalued each April 1st.

The amount is adjusted to make up the difference between your income and the maximum amount issued by the ASI.

The amount of the allowance varies according to your marital situation (single person or couple) and the resources received (professional income and that of your spouse, retirement pensions, invalidity pension, alimonyallowance for disabled adults) because it is adjusted to make up the difference between your income and the maximum amount issued by the Asi. Thus, if you are alone and your income amounts to €500, the amount paid under the Asi will be €846.89 – €500 = €346.89 monthly. If your couple’s income is €1,000 per month, the amount received for the 2 people will be: €1,482.98 – €1,000 = €482.98 monthly. Your resources are calculated on your income for the last three months. If they exceed the maximum amount, then those of the last 12 months are taken into account.

To know : the payment of this allowance stops if you leave France. Don’t forget to notify your pension fund of your move. As soon as the beneficiary of the Asi reaches retirement age, the Asi is no longer paid. 4 months before his birthday, he will be asked to apply for Aspa.

Can ASI and AAH be combined?

If you are disabled, allowance for disabled adults (AAH) can guarantee you a minimum income.

If the disability pension can be combined with the AAHhowever, it is not possible to combine the Supplementary Disability Allowance and the AAH.
