In a message on the website of FC Utrecht, the supervisory board says that the behavior is disapproved. “A safe working environment is paramount,” said Supervisory Board chairman Pieter Leyssius. “Frans has been a very involved shareholder for fifteen years, who has meant and still means a lot to the club, but in his emotion he went too far last Saturday. Frans regrets it and has told us as a supervisory board, but also the entire club, assured that this will never happen again.”
