AOb director Douwe van der Zweep states that the remuneration must be in balance with other employees in the sector. “I find it strange that there is a group that is given the space to determine its own remuneration from public funds,” says Van der Zweep. “Ask yourself: can we explain it to the janitor, teaching assistant, class teacher, practical teacher, or university teacher?”
