Superhero highlight starring Bruce Willis ending a unique trilogy
Bruce Willis is considered one of the biggest stars of action cinema thanks to films like Die Hard. His contributions to the superhero genre are sometimes almost forgotten. After all, since Unbreakable, he’s played a one-of-a-kind superhero in the M. Night Shyamalans (The Sixth Sense) trilogy of the same name. Today her final part Glass is on TV. On TV: Marvel can take a role model from Bruce Willis’ last major role

As in its predecessors Unbreakable and Split, Willis embodies the Everyman David Dunn in the film, who discovered his proverbial unbreakability after a catastrophe. In Glass, he faces Kevin (James McAvoy), who has been punished with 23 different personalities, alongside whom Dunn’s nemesis Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) also returns.

In his last major role before leaving DC and Marvel, Willis once again shows where the superhero: inside hammer hangs. Dunn is a broken role model and a glorious common man rolled into one. He suffers from his differences, but accepts his burden with a great sense of duty and vulnerability.

Without Willis’ Unbreakable role model, heroic characters like Christopher Nolan’s Batman would hardly be possible. And also some that are too flat:r Marvel fighters could use a touch of Dunn’s depth of character. He will probably never come back, but Glass is a worthy monument to him. As well as the talent of Bruce Willis.
