Super talent goal scorer in the debut

The goal came in the third period when Djurgården’s oldest player – Patrick Thoresen, 41 – played the youngest in Viggo Björck, 16.

The super talent got the puck in the middle of the castle and pulled up a wrist shot in the cross behind Västerås goalkeeper to 5-1.

His first goal in the Djurgård jersey at senior level – in his hockeyall Swedish debut.

An interesting detail with the goal is that Patrick Thoresen debuted in the DIF shirt for three years before Viggo Björck was born.

Tipped go high in next year’s draft

Täby HC-bred Björck did a bit that he wanted when Stockholm Nord took home the TV puck last fall and came to Djurgården’s hockey gymnasium for the season.

He is tipped really high in the 2026 NHL draft and has completely east points in Djurgården’s J20 team with 62 sticks in 36 matches.

He is the younger brother of Wilson Björck who played with Djurgården’s A-team look as close during the season and son of Jesper Björck, who has also represented Djurgården at A-team level.

– It’s a good flip from Thoresen. Victor Eklund said I would shoot before the match, says Björck after the match which ended 6-1.
