This week begins under the sun, but until when will this good weather last? Here is what awaits you in the days to come.
March started under the sun. This good weather was around on Monday on three -quarters of the country on Monday. The clouds remain numerous in the southwest, especially near the Pyrenees with even a little rain. If the mornings are fresh sometimes going so far as to cause frosts, temperatures go up well during the day. It is the same Tuesday with between 12 and 18 degrees in the afternoon and a persistent sun on a good part of the country before mid-day. This sweetness experiences a peak from Wednesday.
The anticyclone is positioned, in fact, in the northeast of the country with a sun which is won over three-quarters of the country. It will be between 14 and 18 degrees in the afternoon but the nights will remain fresh. “The feeling will become spring if you are in direct sunlight where you may even consider sunbathing,” says The weather channel. This phenomenon is linked to the shift from high pressures to central Europe and is more worthy of April than early March. As of Thursday, however, clouds and sea wind in the Atlantic regions and in Languedoc-Roussillon will start to darken this table.

The situation could be more complicated from Friday. An Atlantic depression system is announced, causing a threatening sky and rain in Brittany. If Friday, the disturbance will remain fairly localized and the sun will dominate the rest of the country, it will propagate more Saturday on the west and the south, while time will remain dry in the north and east. The wind could also blow strong in Occitania. On Sunday, it is the rocking towards greyness everywhere and the rain almost everywhere: wet weather will affect three -quarters of the country. Only the northeast quarter could escape showers. The weather channel Thus foresees a fairly virulent Cévenol episode with possibly between 200 to 250 mm of rain from Thursday to Sunday.
The last week of school holidays therefore promises to be rather spring, despite a deterioration at the end of the week. Good news, however: this disturbance does not mark the end of good weather. For next week, Météo-France is planning a week “not very disturbed, apart from a risk of rains at the start of the week in the Mediterranean regions” and a maintenance of sweetness with “temperatures above normal in March”.
