Just before seven on Friday night, the alarm came about an overheated cottage in Holmsjö outside Karlskrona. The rescue service performed firefighting work there. But at half past four on Saturday morning, they were alerted to the scene again.
“Something had been missed that caused it to ignite again, so we are there and putting it out properly now,” says Fredrik Hensegård, management operator at the rescue service.
No people in the cottage
No persons should have been in the cottage. Both times, a neighbor called in about the fire.
The police announce on their website that a report of arson has been made and that the place is cordoned off pending a crime scene investigation.
