Suicide Squad officially pushed back to 2023 Jason Shreier was

It’s become an open secret since Jason Shreier released his scoop last February, but it’s now official, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will not be released in 2022 as originally planned. This is Sefton Hill, the Creative Director of the game, and incidentally co-founder of the Rocksteady studio, who comes from the announcement on his Twitter account, explaining that this decision was complicated to make. Obviously, as usual, it is a question of wanting to offer the best possible game, without perhaps mentioning the production concerns that the studio has experienced since the start. If the production now seems to be on stable track, the start was complicated with major changes since the studio was working on a Superman game before having to transform it into a Suicide Squad game at the request of Warner Bros Games. Still, in terms of Warner Bros. Games’ schedule, this delay is not really a concern since the publisher already has LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy to be released this year. It will be sport for them.
