Sudan WHO denounces difficulties in accessing aid for cholera patients

In Sudan, a second wave of cholera was officially declared on August 12 by the World Health Organization (WHO). After the first case recorded on July 22, a month later, 658 cases and 28 deaths were recorded in five states of the country. It is therefore difficult to respond to this epidemic, in the middle of the rainy season, in this country at war for more than sixteen months, warns the WHO.
