Sudan: fragile lull in fighting in Khartoum

Sudan fragile lull in fighting in Khartoum

Sudan has been facing a war for a week now between the Sudanese army led by General Abdel Fattah al-Bourhan and the paramilitaries of General Hemedti’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Seven days of intense shelling and fighting across the country that have already left 413 dead and more than 3,500 injured, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). It would seem that a first ceasefire has been followed since Friday evening April 21.
