What you need to know about the Subaru Solterra
Developed on the same infrastructure as the Toyota bZ4X, Solterra will be an electric SUV that resembles its cousin in technical dynamics. Developed on the e-TNGA platform, Solterra was featured with two different version types when it was first introduced. While 204 PS is offered with the single electric motor and front-wheel drive version at the entry level, 217 PS power and 366 Nm torque values stand out in an upper package that offers 4×4 driving experience. It is worth noting at this point that all Solterra versions, whose prices have been announced, have double electric motors and 4×4 positions. This means that we will be able to see more affordable price tags on a single electric motor package in the upcoming period. On the battery side, there is a range of 370 kilometers on the 71.4 kWh package. It is also worth noting that the range value exceeds 400 kilometers in models with a single electric motor. This battery pack of Solterra can be brought to 80 percent fullness in less than 1 hour with fast charging support. The last generation security assistants, which Subaru calls “EyeSight”, will also be offered as standard in Solterra.
