The AR / VR headset, which is expected to be introduced by Apple, is on the agenda again. According to the news of MacRumors, a few weeks before WWDC, there was a remarkable ‘xrProOS’ development.
APPLICATION FOR TRADEMARK ‘xrProOS’!
According to the claim in the news; Apple applied for the ‘xrProOS’ trademark last week, possibly through a front company.
According to the report, the Delaware-based company “Deep Dive LLC”, which is claimed to be a front, was released in Argentina on May 18 for “xrProOS” stylized in Apple’s SF Pro font. Türkiye and filed a trademark application in the Philippines.
The same article also stated that the company in question had applied for the “xrOS” trademark in the SF Pro font in New Zealand earlier this month.
It’s very likely that Apple is behind both applications as it moved early to protect its intellectual property on the titles.
According to the allegations in the news;
- Deep Dive LLC also filed for xrProOS on May 18 in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, but did not use the SF Pro style.
- According to the records, the company first filed for the trademark on April 27 in Jamaica.
Jamaica is often mentioned as the first place Apple applies for trademarks on its future products.
This is because the country does not have a searchable online trademark database, which helps the company maintain its privacy.
