Due to the increasing number of illegal immigrants, Slovakia has decided to deploy troops on the Hungarian border.

Making a statement on the subject after the Council of Ministers meeting, Slovakia Ministry of Interior Spokesperson Martina Koval Kakascikova stated that the request came from the police force on duty at the border and was evaluated and approved. According to the decision, 200 soldiers will be deployed daily on the Hungarian border until December 15.
