“It is true that concerned students have occupied a space in the Minnaert building. We share the sense of urgency. The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges we face as a society,” says Annelies Waterlander, spokesperson for Utrecht University. “We also like to talk to students to see where we can accelerate and improve our sustainability policy. Anton Pijpers (ed. chairman of the Executive Board of Utrecht University) is now talking to the concerned students and has invited them for a follow-up meeting .”
