“With its prestigious University, Padua attracts thousands of students every year, even from abroad. This is a rapidly growing trend that puts the city of the Saint in the position of having to urgently adapt and increase the offer of dedicated living spaces. For this reason, our Foundation has already joined Student Housing Funds – with “mission related” investments – which have led and will lead to the creation of new university residences in Padua and also in Rovigo; this new and important initiative will certainly represent a valid opportunity for our Institution to consolidate its action in serving the university student population in the reference territory”, declared Gilberto MuraroPresident of the Cariparo Foundation.
“We are proud to be able to contribute to an initiative that we believe is crucial for the economic and social development of the area. This is the first time that a series of events has been organized to promote a PNRR measure with a Roadshow that will travel across Italy from North to South. An idea that was born from the collaboration between Casse Depositi e Prestiti and the Ministry of University and Research and that is receiving great attention. We believe that the enhancement of university buildings is an essential factor for the strengthening of the education system and for the growth of human capital, especially in a city like Padua and in a Region like Veneto, which are particularly attractive for students and with many non-resident students enrolled”, said the Head of Public Administration Business Relations for Northern Italy, Mauro Sambugaro.
