President Alexander Stubb participates today for the meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The annual meeting discusses, among other things, geopolitical instability, accelerating growth and the energy transition.
Stubb will also be present at the meeting on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, among other things, he will participate in a panel discussion on global security and give an opening speech at the dinner about Europe in the technological revolution.
On Thursday, Stubb’s program begins with a speech at a breakfast event for heads of state, which discusses Ukraine’s role in the midst of a change in the world order. In addition, Stubb will participate in other discussions during the meeting. He also has several bilateral meetings.
The five-day meeting started in Davos on Monday. Almost 3,000 people from more than 130 countries will participate in the meeting. Among them are heads of state, business leaders and researchers.
The foreign minister will also participate in the meeting Elina Valtonen (collective) and Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio (ps.).
