In 75 electoral districts, the category of other registered parties received more than 10 percent of the votes in the parliamentary election, according to a compilation made by Sweden’s Radio Ekot. In total, there are 6,578 electoral districts in Sweden.
In the last parliamentary election, in 2018, the other registered parties received a maximum of 7.7 percent in a single electoral district.
In the districts where other registered parties have received more than ten percent, it is also generally seen that the Left Party has moved forward – while the Social Democrats have retreated. According to political scientists, the Nyans party, which has preliminarily received 0.44 percent in total, may have taken voters from S, Ekot reports.
Overall in the country, the category other registered parties received a preliminary 1.5 percent in the parliamentary election. In the last election, the figure was 1.07 percent. The vote count where the category is reported is expected to be completed this weekend.
