Strong start for the Swedish ladies in the WC in cross-country skiing

The WC in cross-country skiing has started in Slovenian Planica and the first out today was the sprint.

Three Swedish medals in the sprint

It was four very strong Swedish women who settled in the sprint final. The Swedes quickly took the lead and made an incomparable final where Jonna Sundling won gold, Emma Ribom silver and Maja Dahlqvist a bronze medal. Linn Svahn ended up in fourth place.

No medal for Halfvarsson

On the men’s side, only Calle Halfvarsson of the Swedes made it to the sprint final. Unfortunately, there was no medal for Halfvarsson, who finished last.
