Strong reactions to this year’s orange-flavored Christmas mustard

Strong reactions to this years orange flavored Christmas mustard

The mustard is coarse-grained and is sold on Apotek hjartat’s website from 7 October and at selected pharmacies around the country from 4 November.

– We continue to explore new flavor combinations that go well with both the mustard’s coarse-grained character and the Christmas feeling. With its sweetness and freshness, the orange contributes to a fresh, smooth and sweet taste impression. An exciting addition to this year’s Christmas celebration, says Linda Senning, product manager, EMV, at Apotek härtat i ett press release.

Nyheter24’s taste panel tests Apotek hjärttan’s orange-flavored Christmas mustard

News24‘s taste panel has tried this year’s orange flavored Christmas mustard, and the jury is floored to say the least. The tasting panel, which consists of parts of Nyheter24’s editorial team, tastes and rates various product news in all categories. The food is then rated based on personal taste and taste, with a justification.

This fall, the taste panel tested Anna’s limited edition saffron-flavored gingerbread cookies, and there were, to say the least, strong reactions in the panel after the taste test.

The tasting panel has also tested Delicato’s Lussebollar, and there too the opinions were divided.

But regarding the Christmas mustard, the taste panel agreed, the mustard is really good.

Rating: 4 out of 5

– This is a future favourite! Incredibly good, sweet and sour at the same time. The tones of orange should be strengthened a little as they are a bit too neutral for my taste, I want taste, character and print! Wouldn’t it be an incredible combo to get a little heat in the form of pepper, why not allspice that is as sweet as orange?, says one of the taste panel and several are on the same track.

Rating: 4 out of 5

– This mustard is super tasty and will go perfectly this Christmas on a ham sandwich. I could have given it 5 out of 5, but didn’t think it tasted much orange, which is probably the point. So on that front it didn’t make it all the way.

Rating: 4 out of 5

– I didn’t feel the orange flavor very clearly. But it was still delicious and you got a lot of Christmas cheer!

Rating: 4 out of 5

– This was good! Was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. If you’re allowed to be fussy, I wouldn’t have hated a little more sting in the mustard on my ham sandwich, and maybe more orange. But disappointed, you won’t be!

Rating: 4 out of 5

– Doesn’t taste like orange but is otherwise great!

Rating: 4 out of 5

– I was hesitant at first, as I don’t usually appreciate fruit together with food. But here the orange flavor did really well, and it was a really nice Christmas mustard. I will definitely have this mustard for the veggie ham on my Christmas table this year.
