Even farm chips have released a new flavor this summer, which will only be sold for a limited time. Nyheter24’s test panel tasted them – so you wouldn’t have to.
The chips had a taste of passion fruit and chili, a flavor combination that does not work on chips.

Estrella’s new chip flavor “Cream Cheese & Onion”
Now Estrella has flagged its new chip flavor coming in the fall, which the Instagram account @matsiktet was the first to report on.
The autumn chip novelty will be launched in stores on August 12, but can already be bought now at Hemmaväll. The flavor is “Cream Cheese & Onion”.

Strong reactions to the new chips
But customers were not entirely happy with the new flavor, some were upset that they contained lactose, while others thought it was just a new name for a flavor that already exists.
“Another taste lactose intolerant can not eat. Would like more hypoallergenic chips or that you stop adding skimmed milk powder to unnecessary flavors such as paprika chips..”, one person wrote in the comments.
“Will probably just taste sugar like everyone else does”.

But there were also those who were very hopeful about the new chip flavor and very eager to try it.

Earlier this summer, Estrella decided to bring back a real customer favorite.
It is Estrella’s dill screws that are being launched again in a limited edition version. From week 27, the screws have been in stores, and will be sold in a limited edition.
