The Social Democrats are increasing slightly and are still the largest party in Gothenburg municipality with 20.4 percent, figures from the Electoral Authority show.
But the Left Party is making strong progress and is now bigger than the Moderates. V ends at 17.6 percent when almost all districts are counted, an increase of 5.3 percentage points since the last EU election.
The Green Party also gets 17.6 percent, an increase of 1.8 percentage points.
All other parties back down in Gothenburg. The moderates get 15.2 percent, SD 9.9, KD 6.7, C 5.6 and L 4.9 percent.
