Strong earthquake in Colombia

The United States Geological Survey USGS reports that the first quake was measured at 6.3 and the subsequent one at 5.7. The epicenter of both quakes was about 10 miles southeast of the capital, Bogota.

The quake occurred at 12 noon local time and caused part of the roof of the congress building to come off. However, no personal injuries have been reported.
