Strong criticism of Mondelez – Ica’s customers demand a boycott: “Pick away Marabou”

About three weeks ago, the international food company Mondelez was blacklisted by the Ukrainian authorities because they have factories in Russia.

This has caused several companies such as SJ, SAS and Liseberg to stop selling Marabou, which is owned by Mondelez.

Here you can read about how Mondelez changed its website in a flash – to hide the brands from its customers.

The customers want Ica to boycott Mondelez

Now Ica customers want the food giant to follow the same path. In the company’s social media, many customers write that Ica must stop selling Marabou:

“When are you going to boycott Marabou??”

“When will you remove Marabou, Oreo, etc. from the Mondelez brand from the stores?”

“PHASE Marabou out of Ica’s range”

Local ICA stops selling Marabou

Several Ica stores around the country have stopped selling Marabou, including Ica in Skärhamn.

This after the customers’ request.

– We have received a lot of support, says the store manager Sophie Larsson to P4 Gothenburg.
