Gröna Lund opened its doors in 1883 and has been operating ever since.
Today, the park is full of different kinds of carousels and roller coasters. During the summer months, artists also have concerts on Gröna Lund’s small and large stage. You can also do different types of pentathlon in the area.
The artist Veronica Maggio has an audience record at Gröna Lund with 35,000 visitors.
Gröna Lund is also open during the autumn
During the winter season, Gröna Lund closes its attractions, but remains open on certain days. But there are plenty of other things to do in the park. The amusement park usually has, among other things, Halloween celebrations in the park with the opportunity for guests to go around different haunted houses and get scared.
In winter, After Ski is on the schedule and before Christmas there will also be a Christmas table at Tyrol, one of the amusement park’s restaurants.
Customers rave about Gröna Lund
Every year, Tyrol has a large Christmas table with over 200 delicacies. Already when Gröna Lund started advertising this year’s Christmas table, customers reacted strongly, because many thought it was far too expensive.
Now Christmas is just around the corner and the criticism is the same, customers think the Christmas table is too expensive. During an advertisement post on Facebook from Gröna Lund, customers have expressed their anger.
“Think you should lower the price to a maximum of SEK 500/person excl. VAT so that even our (unfortunately kind/poor) employer can afford to visit you!”
“Tyrol only focuses on the upper class unfortunately.”
“I would like to have Christmas dinner there. But expensive”
“What prices!”
“Insane price…”
“Who can afford private…?”
“Way too expensive!”
“995 bucks??? It must be a joke! What do you serve, golden ham???”
“Way too expensive, who can eat for those sums????!!!!!”
