Today the mid-day sale really kicked off. For trade, it is considered to be extra important this year due to inflation, but it started much more slowly than usual.
– It is worrying that customers are holding their wallets tighter. At the same time as costs for traders increase, electricity prices, purchase prices and so on. We are concerned that many merchants are unable to do this. And that is so important, not least when it comes to delivering jobs, says Hans Tjernström Carraro, head of communications at Swedish Trade.
