Everyone gets a fist bump from Paul. “Hey, dude,” he calls out with a slight Amsterdam accent to a passing canoe. “I haven’t seen you in a long time!” The canoeist sails along with the Patatboot for a while and asks if Paul can deliver a large order tomorrow, say for about thirty people. “I’ll do anything for you, right?” Paul laughs. But then they start negotiating the price. “For the tastiest fries in the country, it can’t be for free, mate.”
