Israel’s attacks on Gaza have continued since October 7. As the number of deaths exceeded 20 thousand, ceasefire claims have been on the agenda in recent days. The latest claim came from the US-based Wall Street Journal newspaper. The news claimed that a ceasefire plan for approximately 4 months was being worked on between Israel and Palestine, which would include the release of all captives.
4-MONTH ceasefire PLAN
While Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip have continued since October 7, the US-based Wall Street Journal newspaper claimed that a new ceasefire plan was being prepared between Israel and Palestine.
The news, based on Egyptian officials, claimed that Egypt was working on a 4-month ceasefire plan between Israel and Palestine that included the release of all captives, and that the ceasefire would last 6 weeks in the first phase of the plan. It was stated in the news that Israeli women, children and elderly people in the Gaza Strip will be released during the 6-week ceasefire, and in return, Israel will release Palestinian prisoners and allow the flow of aid to the Gaza Strip to increase.
SECOND PHASE INCLUDE SOLDIERS
The next stage of the plan includes Hamas releasing Israeli soldiers and giving the dead bodies of those killed in the Gaza Strip to Israel. It is stated that Hamas will receive international guarantees, including from the USA, and that this will prevent attacks on the Gaza Strip. It was stated that it would open the door to a comprehensive agreement that would ultimately bring it to an end.
