Streaming service is completely scrapped in Germany

The streaming market is in a shark tank. Mega corporations like Netflix and Amazon are now entering the market with free offers or cheap advertising rates. The smaller competitors fall by the wayside. Now Lionsgate+ (formerly Starz) is also throwing in the towel.

Netflix competitor Starz ceases operations despite a great offer

This emerges from a statement that quoted Fernsehserien.de. Many users should be familiar with the streaming service as a channel on Amazon Prime Video. It is not known exactly when it will close its doors.

Straight series fans become may painfully miss the offer of the Netflix competition. In addition to Hulu acquisitions such as The Great, the range also included highlights such as Killing Eve.

The development is particularly bitter for German users. After all, Lionsgate+ had just produced its first German series original with the horror drama Nights in Paradise. Many of the licenses will probably be transferred to Hulu shareholders Disney and HBO partner RTL + in the future.
