Cold weather and rain in many places have meant that the long-awaited Swedish strawberries can become a scarce commodity in midsummer. The sales manager at Hebe Frukt & Grönt in Gothenburg, Magnus Sundén, says that they “searched with lights and lanterns” for Swedish strawberries to meet the demand in the stores.
