A 25-year-old Stratford resident is charged with sexual assault after a break and enter was reported in North Perth, police say.
Police responded to the report on March 19, Perth County OPP said.
Both people involved were known to each other, according to investigators.
The victim was not injured, police said.
The accused is charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offence, sexual assault, spousal assault, mischief, theft under $5,000, and disobeying a court order.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing, police said.
