Stratford officers seized more than $26,000 in drugs, cash and paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the area of Princess Street early Friday morning, police said.
While speaking with the driver shortly after 4:30 am, officers noticed a large amount of cannabis in plain view and within reach, police said in a press release.
A further search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 123 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 117 grams of cannabis, 31 60-milligram Percocet tablets, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash, police alleged.
As a result, a 42-year-old Listowel woman was arrested and charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. She was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
