Five minutes spent shopping inside a Stratford liquor store was enough time for an alleged thief to ride away on an unattended e-bike, police say.
Stratford police said the bike’s owner reported the theft from an LCBO on Wellington Street around 3:45 pm on Monday.
Police are asking for help identifying a suspect seen leaving the store on the bike, riding east on George Street towards Downie Street.
The suspect is described as a white male with a slim build and a goatee.
Surveillance video shows the man wearing a white T-shirt, camouflage shorts, black running shoes, and a baseball cap. The suspect also has tattoos along both forearms and was wearing a heavy chain around his neck.
The bike is described as a white and black RadMission electric bike.
