Stratford police searching for missing man with dementia

Police believe Paul Robichaud, 73 and in the early stages of dementia, wandered away from his home Tuesday night.

Stratford police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 73-year-old man who is in the early stages of dementia after he disappeared from his St. Marys home Tuesday night.

Paul Robichaud is described as a 5’7″ white man, with an average build, shorts, gray hair and a gray mustache. He was last seen at his home on Elgin Street East at 6 pm Tuesday wearing black pants, a red sweater and a Boston Bruins ball cap.

Police said they believe he wandered away from his house on foot. Stratford police have conducted an initial search for Robichaud but were unable to find him so are asking area residents to be on the lookout.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Robichaud is asked to call Stratford police at 519-271-4141 or call local police if he is found outside Stratford, St. Marys or Perth South.
