Stratford police are asking the public for assistance in identifying the driver of a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run collision with another vehicle in the Stratford Walmart parking lot earlier this month.
Stratford police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run collision with another vehicle in the parking lot of the Stratford Walmart earlier this month.
Police said Tuesday the crash occurred at around 3:45 pm on Aug. 5. Video surveillance from the store shows a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by an unknown woman pulling out of a parking space when the truck’s passenger side strikes the front-driver’s side corner of an orange Pontiac Grand Am, which was parked and unoccupied at the time.
Police say the driver of the pickup left the parking lot without contacting police or leaving contact information for the owner of the Grand Am.
Police are asking anyone who may have information on the driver of the truck to contact the Stratford Police Service at 519-271-4141 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
