Almost 10 years after the 1st season of Stranger Things started on Netflix, the mystery series will debut its final Season on the streamer this year. For the former children’s actors: Inside around Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard, an era comes to an end in which they grew up in front of and behind the camera are. In an interview, Wolfhard now explained how the farewell felt for him.

In an interview with Variety, the Mike actor revealed to his new film The Legend of Ochi as part of the press tour that the last Stranger Things turn was difficult:
It was of course incredibly emotional. That was the last 10 years of my life. Also for the series creators, the Duffer brothers who started when they were 30 and now they are 40. Everyone had a long journey and shared them together. I spent all my childhood there. It was Like the Toy Story 3 momentwhen the toys are left behind. It was really something special.
At the same time, Wolfhard was proud of the end product that came out after the one -year shoot for season 5:
We had a long year. We turned it like the lord of the rings, with a one -year shoot. It was a great way to complete it, and very intense. I have the feeling It couldn’t have ended better.

When does Stranger Thing’s season 5 come to Netflix?
The shooting of Stranger Things Season 5 was recorded on January 8, 2024 and ended in December 2024. Thus, as described by Wolfhard, these included almost a complete year. The comparison to Peter Jackson’s lord of the ring shoot is obvious-but is not entirely true. The fantasy trilogy was actually shot in New Zealand for 438 days, about a year and two and a half months.
The final Season from Stranger Things will appear on Netflix at some point in the year 2025. Although fans have recently found out that season 5 could debut on the streamer on time for Thanksgiving on November 27, 2025, this rumor should initially be enjoyed with caution. A release date within the second half of the year However, it seems likely. Season 5 comprises eight episodes.
