Due to the new strike by authors of many films, series and shows, numerous productions are now from failures and delays affected. This now includes the big Stranger Things finale. The two series creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer are also stopping their work on the 5th season of the Netflix hit for the time being. For this they were immediately praised.

As Variety reports, production of the final season of Stranger Things has had to be paused. The reason for this is that the Duffers also participate in the great Hollywood strike. Both announced this via Twitter:

It is not yet clear how long the WGA strike will last. What is certain, however, is that the action far-reaching consequences for numerous productions will have.
