Strålman returns – ready for HV71

The defender, who has 938 NHL games in 16 seasons in the NHL, has signed a one-year contract with the club. He was also there when Tre Kronor won WC gold in 2017.

“It will be fun to play SHL hockey again. Since moving home I have followed the league and HV71 more and am really looking forward to it,” says Anton Strålman to the club’s website.

Anton Strålman comes closest from the Boston Bruins organization.

“It will be a lot of fun to come to Jönköping and get to play in front of such a devoted hockey audience as HV71 has. To now be able to return to something that was part of my upbringing naturally feels awesome,” says Anton Strålman.
