During the trial, Stormy Daniels testified about the fortunes when she was paid money to keep quiet about the alleged affair. The money was paid by Trump’s then lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen – who in turn received money from Trump.
Trump was convicted of all 34 charges and faces several years in prison, but may also receive a suspended sentence. The penalty will be announced on July 11.
