Storm Hans has hit the Nordic countries with force. There are floods in Sweden and Norway, and landslides have also been seen in Norway.

In Sweden, the storm has caused a flood in Åre, Jämntland, which is known for its ski resort. The Susabäcken stream, which flows near the center of Åre, has swollen and threatens buildings, says public broadcasting company SVT.
Residents have been told to stay inside. All roads through the village are closed.
– It looks like a tornado hit. The whole road is open and there are stones and trees everywhere, says a local resident Give it For Expressen magazine.
The rescue service is currently trying to control the water masses and has not yet assessed the damage.
– Right now we are trying to get the power back into the stream, and then we will help the properties, says the chief Henrik Jonsson From Åre rescue service to Expressen.
According to Jönsson, the current is already high quality.
Swedish Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a warning of large floods in the counties of Western Götaland, Värmland, Örebro and Halland and the western parts of Kronoberg county. The warning is valid until Thursday.
Landslides in Norway
Several landslides have occurred in the mountainous central part of Norway, in Nord-Aurdal municipality, reports public broadcaster NRK.
People have been evacuated from two houses. The third house also threatens to be buried under the landslide, but the violently flowing masses of water have prevented rescuers from entering the house.
A rescue helicopter has been called to the scene, says the local rescue manager Øyvind Bakken.
Dozens of people have also been evacuated due to flooded rivers.
64 people were evacuated from the village of Leirsund near Oslo and 30 people from the municipality of Østre Toten. Up to 100 millimeters of rain has been predicted for Østre Toten in the near future.
Three foreign fishing tourists were also missing in Norway. The police said on Tuesday morning that they found them in good condition. They were said to have been stranded on an island in the coastal area of Bømlo on Monday evening due to a storm.

Rescue service: “Denmark is still standing”
Storm Hans brought heavy rains and winds to Denmark. According to the Danish rescue service, the storm was not as severe as expected.
– Our message from here is that Denmark is still standing, says the general secretary of the rescue service Bjarne Nigaard for the public broadcaster DR.
According to Nigaard, the most disturbances have been caused by trees felled by the storm.
